Magnificent day of riding and eating. The road continued to roll most of the day today. With the one exception of a booger of a hill near the end of the route, we maintained a consistent pace throughout the day. Many found lunch in Bogalusa at Glynn's. Very nice chocolate malts and great handpressed burgers.
After 50 miles of riding it was a nice stop for lunch in Louisiana before crossing the Pearl River into Mississippi.
We are most definitely in pine country now as we past several forests in both states. The temps were in the high 80's today and the sun cooked us in the afternoon. I can tell because when I stopped riding I could see salt deposits all over my skin.
We are at the Haas Cienda RV park. A very nice place with hot showers, pool, and a grassy spot. Dinner was brats and sauerkraut with red beans and rice. Awesome!
