We did it! We made it! Dipped in ocean at 12:30 PM. Great job by all. Smiles on all faces. Safe and sound with magnificent blue skies and mostly tail winds. Everyone happy to arrive and sad it is over. Malte stood at the edge of the beach looking out at the ocean and said "it is not about the accomplishment; it is about the experiences. It was all fantastic." Could not have said it better!

| Well... you just know we had to stop at one last cafe. Our gathering spot before we ride into St. Augustine just as we left San Diego 57 days ago... together. Sweet Jerseys! | |

| Kiyoe. Doubted her in the beginning but notice she still has all that gear she started with in San Diego. You won't believe what is in those panniers. A true legend in my mind. You have to meet this woman. Look for her panniers down the road somewhere in the future. Congratulations. What did the van do for her? "Piece of mind" she says. |
